In this post I am going to talk about Paris
Paris is the capital and the most populous city of France. It has an area of 105 km² and a population in 2013 of 2,229,621 within the city limits. It is located in northern central France. By road it is 450 kilometres south-east of London, 287 kilometres south of Calais, 305 kilometres south-west of Brussels, 774 kilometres north of Marseille, 385 kilometres north-east of Nantes, and 135 kilometres south-east of Rouen.
They speak in French, their own language. They have a very good football team called Paris Saint German (PSG), in the last 4 years they have won the League 1 that is equivalent to the Liga bbva here in Spain.
Paris has a typical Western European oceanic climate which is affected by the North Atlantic Current. The overall climate throughout the year is mild and moderately wet. Summer days are usually warm and pleasant with average temperatures hovering between 15 and 25 °C (59 and 77 °F), and a fair amount of sunshine. I was there this February and in the week that I stayed there, the weather was very good because the sky was clear.

Paris played host to the 1900 and 1924 Olympic Games and was a candidate city for the Olympics in 1992, 2008 and 2012. The city also played host to the finals of the 1938 FIFA world cup (at the Stade Olympique de Colombes), as well as the 1998 FIFA world cup and the 2007 Rugby World Cup Final (both at the Stade de France). Also hosted at the Stade de France, two UEFA Champions League Finals in the current century: 2000 and 2006 editions. Paris has most recently been the host for UEFA Euro 2016 at the Parc des Princes. The winner was Portugal and the second France. Spain was eliminated against Italy in the quarterfinals.Paris has a lot of interesting sculptures, museums and places to view, for example:
The Arch of Triumph: The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle (originally named Place de l'Étoile), at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. It is important to look at this arch when you are in Paris because ut is enormous and beautiful.
Disneyland Paris: The Disneyland Paris, originally Euro Disney Resort, is an entertainment resort in Marne-la-Vallée, a new town located 32 km (20 mi) east of the centre of Paris, and it is the most visited theme park in all of France and Europe. It is owned and operated by Euro Disney S.C.A, a publicly traded company in which The Walt Disney Company owns a majority stake. If you are with children you have to go here. It is the best place for children to stay a day. Toys and attractions everywhere.
The Montparnasse tower: Tour Maine-Montparnasse (Maine-Montparnasse Tower), also commonly named Tour Montparnasse, is a 210-metre (689 ft) office skyscraper located in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. I went one night to the top, and it was brilliant, all Paris at night with a lot of lights of different colours, music in streets, an unforgettable experience.
The Square of the Concordia: The Place de la Concorde is one of the major public squares in Paris, France. Measuring 8.64 hectares (21.3 acres) in area, it is the largest square in the French capital. It is located in the city's eighth arrondissement, at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées. It is a very large square with a lot of structures: The obelisk, a ferris wheel... A very spectacular square.
I hope you enjoy this!!!!
